Hey guys! It's ashley/ ashpewdiepie! I know today isn't #advicesaturday but I'm not allowed to play any games because tomorrow I've got school (yes, on a Satuday) but just for tomorrow.
So, I'll be sharing with you my OCD. It's genetic but it can also be triggered from a horrible experience. (As said by Uncle Google)
Mine is genetic. I've had it since I was born. It was really bad when I was around 5. I remember doing rituals like counting to 5 then running to a table them back to the bed so I would be "safe". During that time, I didn't know it wasn't true and was anxiety but I know now.
How do I deal with it?
I still reassure myself most of the time but I don't do rituals anymore.
MY #ADVICE:
- Tell yourself it's not true, it's all in your head. That's was how I manage to stop the rituals. I also told myself God decides all, not these rituals and then I stopped.
- if super serious, get some help. Tell your mom/ close friend/ relative and call a psychiatrist. It's treatable!
GOOD LUCK!
